๐ŸŒž Donโ€™t Let Summer Slip Away: Live Intentionally

Hello and Happy (almost) Summer!

As the school year winds down and summer stretches ahead like a blank canvas, Iโ€™ve been reflecting on what this season really offers us. Itโ€™s so easy to let these weeks slip byโ€”telling ourselves weโ€™ll start later, that weโ€™ll take that leap after we feel more prepared, or once things feel โ€œjust right.โ€ But the truth is, time moves whether weโ€™re ready or not. And so often, the things that matter mostโ€”the dreams that tug at our heartsโ€”require us to start before we feel ready.

Thatโ€™s exactly what happened with Lilyfield Candles. For years, my husband and I looked into starting another business. Yes, I said another; the other 2 businesses brought us success but nothing to write home about. However, through the journey, we learned A LOT about business...and what not to do when starting one (painful but vital lessons to learn). It was on January 13th (by the way my favorite number is 13; it reminds me of my dad who passed on September, 13th), when the idea came to me. It felt right so, I finally said yes. Yes to beginning something new. Yes to pouring creativity into something meaningful. Yes to stepping into the unknown (ie; Tik Tok, Instagram to name a few of my steep learning curves I had to overcome). And now, every candle I pour, every message I share, and every light I ignite carries the heartbeat of that decision: to live aย Life Lived Well.

This season isnโ€™t just a breakโ€”itโ€™s an invitation. An invitation to begin again. To pick up the pen and start writing a new chapter. God has a divine plan for ALL of us; we just have to be still enough to hear it. HE will encourage us to take bold, brave steps toward the life HE has envisioned for you. Whether itโ€™s launching your own dream, setting a new goal, or simply choosing to show up differentlyโ€”do it now. Let this be the summer you look back on and say, โ€œThatโ€™s when everything started to change.โ€

Even if your next step feels scary or uncertain, donโ€™t wait for perfect timingโ€”it rarely comes. Growth doesnโ€™t happen in the comfort zone. It happens when we move forward with courage, even when the path isnโ€™t fully clear. My path definitely was not clear, but I trusted God in the direction HE was moving me. If you have God on your side, who can be against you?

So hereโ€™s to beginning. To bravery. To bold moves and bright mornings. And to lighting the wayโ€”together.ย

Have an amazing last few days of the school year. Summer is callingโ€ฆ what will you do to create your Life Lived Well?

Sincerely,
Chrissy
